Exciting news to share: The Medical Device Reprocessing Technician Training Program is being offered through Island Health. Start date is May 06, 2024, and will run until approximately October 04, 2024. The program combines online curriculum through VIU and clinical practicum at Island Health Sites.
Grade 12 (or acceptable equivalent); Grade 12 English with C or better or assessment by VIU; Completion of Medical Terminology (OSME002) or equivalent.
Successful applicants must meet the following pre-requisites: Medical Terminology certificate, Interpersonal and Employment Skills training, and a high school transcript to prove that they have completed grade 12 including a minimum C in English.
