Position Details

This is a temporary RECE position available at St. Gabriel CES from ASAP to June 27, 2025.

General Description of Duties

The responsibilities include collaborating with educators to plan and implement the Early Learning Kindergarten program, delivering faith-based early learning programs, and supporting children's cognitive, physical, social, spiritual, and emotional development.

Responsibilities for Both Kindergarten and Extended Day Programs
  • Partner with educators to develop and implement curriculum-based activities.
  • Support individual students' needs, strengths, and interests.
  • Observe, monitor, and assess student development.
  • Collaborate on activities supporting students with IEPs.
  • Maintain a healthy learning environment and promote pro-social skills.
  • Assist with routines, record keeping, classroom setup, and attend meetings and professional development.
Application Requirements for Consideration
  • Member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
  • External applicants must submit a cover letter and resume; internal applicants are exempt.
Application Process

For Catholic applicants, include a Baptismal certificate, Confirmation certificate if applicable, and a Catholic Pastoral Reference form. For non-Catholic applicants, complete the Declaration of Commitment Form.

Schedule and Hours

Hours to be confirmed; full-time is 7 hours/day plus lunch, part-time 3.5 hours/day, with schedules from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
