We are looking for an Express Solutions Analyst/Developer III to maintain and optimize custom applications and workflows that enhance business value.

In this role, you'll analyze complex business requirements, develop tailored solutions, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, business-critical projects. This role is critical in modeling business processes, providing clarity on features, and ensuring the efficient development, delivery, and continuous improvement of solutions.

What you'll do

In this role you will:

• Translate business and non-functional requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, update artifacts, and track changes throughout the development lifecycle.
• Lead Agile software development activities using tools like MS Power Platform, K2 Studio, SQL, and SharePoint, including code development, testing, and deployment.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing and ensure solutions meet desired business outcomes.
• Participate in team activities such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives while contributing to continuous process improvement and platform enhancement.
• Consistently models the appropriate level of organizational behaviours expected of all WorkSafeBC employees: responsive, respectful, fair, collaborative, accountable, and forward thinking.

Your background and experience

• A undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
• A minimum of 6 years' recent work experience as a low code Analyst/Developer, inclusive of 1 year direct hands-on experience in the Agile practice.

We'll consider equivalent combinations of education and experience.

Salary: $48.47 per hourly
