Job Summary:

Crossroads Chevrolet is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Express Service Technician to join our team in Mount Hope, West Virginia. As an Express Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure efficient and effective vehicle maintenance and repairs. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry with a competitive salary and great benefits.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive salary of $17 to $20 per hour, paid semimonthly

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on vehicles, including brakes, engines, transmissions, and cooling systems
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and document any necessary repairs or maintenance
  • Use diagnostic equipment to accurately troubleshoot and identify issues
  • Communicate with customers to explain repairs and services needed, as well as estimated costs and completion timelines
  • Keep track of parts inventory and place orders as needed
  • Adhere to manufacturer and dealership safety protocols and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and techniques through training and development opportunities
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience working as an automotive technician in a dealership or similar setting
  • ASE certification
  • Strong mechanical and technical skills
  • Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
