Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and practices related to compliance and export/import control laws for SLS Canada Inc., at Ajax and Montreal facilities.
  • Perform all Designated Official (DO) activities, including certification and signing authority for internal documents and government submissions.
  • Oversee departmental data repositories, employee files, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate with procurement, quality, HR, and other departments on export control requirements.
  • Engage with government agencies regarding compliance with CGP, ITAR, and EAR regulations.
  • Build and support export control databases and website transformation projects.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Strong organizational, planning, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and ability to manage sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Attention to detail and follow-up skills.
