A leading company in the automotive industry seeks a highly skilled SAP VC Expert for a remote position. This role involves redesigning a key vehicle configuration tool on brand websites. Candidates should have significant experience in SAP Variant Configuration and a deep understanding of automotive processes. The contract is initially for 3 months with the possibility of renewal.

Contract Duration:

Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with SAP VC (Variant Configuration)
In-depth understanding of SAP VC modules, configuration logic, and BOM (Bill of Materials) structures
Experience designing and managing Configuration Profiles for complex products (e.g., vehicles)
Strong knowledge of characteristics, classes, and dependencies in SAP
Ability to manage component structures and BOMs based on vehicle configurations
Skilled in defining and configuring materials (e.g., model, color, engine, and other options)
Deep understanding of automotive industry processes, compliance requirements, and implementation best practices
Redesign and improve the "Build Your Own" feature on automotive brand websites
Enhance and streamline vehicle configuration using SAP VC data
Ensure performance, accuracy, and scalability of the new configuration solution
Analyze the current SAP VC configuration structure
Collaborate with UX, product, and development teams to define new vehicle configuration logic
Document all characteristics, dependencies, and configuration rules
Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and platforms
Participate in technical reviews, testing, and solution validation
Previous experience on automotive configuration projects
Familiarity with e-commerce or digital product configurators
Strong attention to detail and a user-centered approach
