Join a team that plays a strategic role in the management of NBC's IT infrastructure. As an Expert Analyst, Network Management and Security, you will be a key element in resolving complex incidents and implementing cutting-edge technology solutions to support network and security operations. By working closely with other infrastructure and security experts, you will help maintain the stability, performance, and security of critical systems for the organization, in a hybrid environment combining on-premises and cloud infrastructures (AWS).

- Critical incident management and resolution

  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues in hybrid environments (Cisco, AWS, F5, CheckPoint).
  • Identify and implement permanent fixes based on a continuous improvement methodology.
  • Participate in the management of major incidents in real time and coordinate efforts with multidisciplinary teams.

- Network Infrastructure Implementation and Optimization

  • Participate in the evolution of the network architecture to meet the growing needs of the organization
  • Analyze requests for changes to the network infrastructure, assess the impacts on existing applications, suggest and make appropriate changes;
  • Understand business issues, identify stakeholders' network infrastructure needs and propose technological solutions to support the realization of their activities;
  • Oversee the release of new network solutions and ensure their successful integration and propose or execute strategic changes by optimizing the configuration of network infrastructures.

- Analysis and policy recommendations

  • Perform in-depth analyses on the performance and resilience of existing infrastructures.
  • Provide recommendations to improve the effectiveness of systems and align strategic directions with business needs.
  • Collaborate with security and IT teams to integrate solutions that comply with current standards.

- Development of operational capacities

  • Implement robust monitoring and automation processes to minimize downtime.
  • Train and support teammembers by sharing knowledge on advanced tools and technologies.

Within the Infrastructure & Operations sector, you are part of a large team and report to Senior Director.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in network infrastructure management and complex incident resolution
  • Experience troubleshooting Networks in an AWS Cloud environment, (Security-group, terraform, yaml, firewalling)
  • Experience in incident resolution in a Cisco environment
  • Mastery of network technologies (switching, routing, VPN, firewalls, load balancers, QoS, DNS, etc.)
  • Knowledge of network tools (Wireshark, Zabbix, and other advanced monitoring solutions.)
  • Excellent ability to work in complex environments and to assimilate complex technological concepts
  • Experience in the financial sector, desirable
  • CCNP certification and AWS certification, desirable.
