Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Property Claims Adjuster to join our growing team! As a Claims Adjuster II, Property, you’ll be at the heart of what we do best : helping people. You’ll work alongside a passionate and diverse team of adjusters who are experts in helping customers get back on track after a loss.

People will count on you to effectively communicate and settle property claims both online and over the phone. You will help our customers through difficult times, demonstrating empathy and strong listening skills as you investigate a wide variety of claims through to completion. You will be responsible for helping our customers using a variety of technological tools to provide expedient and efficient service. Plus, we have multiple roles within Claims, offering many opportunities for career growth.

• Provide superior customer service to external and internal customers, through proactive contact during the claims process.
• Assess policy wordings and damages to determine coverage.
• Investigate property claims promptly through communication with customers, vendors, experts, and other parties.
• Negotiate with customers, third parties, and insurers to settle claims within your authority.
• Stay updated on current insurance products, trends, and investigation techniques.

Your Skills

• A college diploma or university degree is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of property claims experience.
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good problem-solving and priority management skills.
• Strong computer skills and technological aptitude.
• Commitment to self-development.
• Willing to pursue Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
