Join to apply for the Expert en sinistre, Dommages directs, Transporteurs role at Intact.

This position is part of our Specialty Lines Auto team, responsible for investigating routine and complex Physical Damage claims for Intact Public Entities and Entertainment customers.

Locations available across Canada include offices in Ontario (Ajax, London, Mississauga, Ottawa, Richmond Hill, Toronto) and Atlantic (Dartmouth NS, Dieppe NB, St. John’s NL).

What You’ll Do Here
  • Analyze and interpret insurance policy wording to determine coverage and assess entitlements
  • Communicate effectively with customers, brokers, claimants, lawyers, and other insurers to resolve claims
  • Document cases clearly, meeting legislative requirements
  • Collaborate with Bodily Injury team on significant losses
  • Manage losses and claims on Public Entities and Entertainment accounts
What You Bring To The Table
  • Relevant university degree or equivalent experience
  • Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation or working towards it
  • At least 2 years of experience adjusting commercial auto claims
  • Experience with municipalities or emergency vehicles is an asset
  • Ability to handle/moderate complex claims, communicate and negotiate effectively
  • Excellent customer service, analytical, decision-making, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of provincial auto insurance legislation
  • Atlantic provincial licenses preferred, willingness to obtain them
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset
