Job summary

Bell Textron Canada Ltee in Quebec is seeking an Expert Senior, Quality Assurance to ensure product quality across aerospace programs, coordinating with production and engineering teams.

The role requires 10+ years in QA, fluency in French and English, and experience using SAP, CAMS, and Power BI. On-site in Mirabel, Quebec with flexible benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma in aerospace studies or a relevant diploma is required.
• 10 years of quality assurance experience in the aerospace industry.
• May be required to support operational needs on weekends.
• Proficiency in SAP and CAMS systems desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Power BI tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Interpret applicable requirements related to issues raised by clients and partners.
• Initiate appropriate actions considering problem cause, value, and equipment availability.
• Document and follow up on confinements (stock purge, SIR, etc.).
• Communicate actions to interested parties.
• Promote company quality policies and the FOD program.
• Monitor quality performance and identify actions for improvement and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with production, support groups, and flight safety officer.
• Evaluate, reject, and dispose of non-conforming material cost-effectively.
• Complete other tasks requested by the manager.

Expert Senior, Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

• Interpret applicable requirements in relation to issues raised by our clients (internal and external) and business partners (TIM, Piney-Flats, etc.).
• Initiate appropriate actions considering the cause of the problem, the value, and the availability of equipment.
• Determine the need, initiate, document, and follow up on confinements (stock purge, SIR, etc.) involving the appropriate groups.
• Communicate actions to interested parties.
• Promote company policies, procedures, and quality requirements, including the FOD program.
• Monitor quality performance and identify required actions for improvement and cost reduction.
• Work in collaboration with interested parties (production, support groups, flight safety officer, etc.).
• Evaluate, initiate rejection, and manage the disposition of non-conforming material in the most cost-effective manner, considering production schedules and costs incurred.
• Complete any other related tasks requested by their manager.

Qualifications

• Diploma in aerospace studies or any other relevant diploma for the position.
• 10 years of experience in quality assurance in the aerospace industry.
• May be required to support operational needs on weekends.
• Proficiency in SAP and CAMS systems desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Power BI tools.
• Ability to analyze and anticipate the consequences of quality issues.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work as part of a team with partners.
• Ability to establish interpersonal relationships conducive to collaboration.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Functional knowledge in French required.
• Functional knowledge in English required for this position, as it involves communication in English with Bell teams outside Quebec and/or its suppliers, partners, and clients outside Quebec.
