Job Description

Sentry Fire Protection Services is a family-owned organization with over 45 years in the industry. We are seeking an Experienced Sprinkler Fitter with a 427A Licensed Journeyman. The successful candidate will be based in the Chatham and Windsor areas, with potential work in Sarnia. Candidates should be able to work independently, multitask, lead by example, and be self-motivated with a focus on customer care.

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities include:

• Perform inspections (monthly, semi-annual, annual) and maintenance repairs
• Install and repair water-based sprinkler systems, foam systems, gas agent systems, and fire pump equipment
• Fabricate, install, test, maintain, and repair sprinkler systems for fire protection
• Maintain good standing or be in the process of gaining membership with Local 853
• Experience with service, installation, and testing of suppression systems and fire pump equipment
• Prioritize safety at all times
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Possess or be willing to obtain a backflow testing certificate (asset)
• Work independently when required
• Coordinate with other trades
• Maintain a team-first mentality
