Job summary

Whistler Blackcomb is seeking a Signmaker to produce, install and maintain on-mountain signage across our resort. You will work in a fast-paced environment, require strong attention to detail, and may ski or snowboard between locations.

Ideal candidates bring experience with sign design tools (Corel Draw, Illustrator, Photoshop), along with a valid BC driver’s license and the ability to lift 40+ lbs. This is a year-round, full-time role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop preferred.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift 40+ lbs.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Sign design and production experience preferred.
• Painting and carpentry experience preferred.
• Valid BC driver's license and clean record.
• Intermediate to advanced ski/board ability.
• Clear criminal record check.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for production, installation, and maintenance of signage throughout the resort.
• Maintain neat, organized work environment to ensure safe operation, and efficient production of signage.
• Requires strong communication skills, and attention to detail with a good command of the English language.
• Responsible for tracking materials and time, and maintaining all sign related machinery, supplies, and equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, energetic environment with other team members and at times with little supervision.
• Ski/Snowboard around both mountains to install and maintain on mountain signage.
• Assist other departments as needed.

• Intermediate to advanced ski/board ability – required.
• Clear criminal record check – required.
