A well-established Thai restaurant in Richmond Hill is seeking Experienced Servers and Assistant Servers. Full-time shifts for experienced personnel and part-time roles for assistant servers are available. Experience in Thai or SE Asian cuisine is preferred. Thai Basil is a fast paced but truly authentic Thai cuisine located at 1070 Major Mackenzie Dr. E, Unit F103, Richmond Hill, On. L4S 1P3. This job is open for all Canadians with the required experience including underrepresented groups: Newcomers and Youth are targeted. We are hiring:
1)Experienced Servers- shifts includes whole days on weekdays and weekends. Full time.
1-2 years Thai or SE Asian cuisine experience.
Duties: Serve food and beverages, general plate service, present bills and accept payments. Advise and describe menu items including daily specials for customers. Describe and advise on drink selection; present, open, pour and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware. Maintain inventory of bar and dining room supplies.

2)Assistant Servers- Part or Full time, Friday to Sunday evenings plus some hours on weekdays.
Previous restaurant/cafe/fast food working experience is an asset.
Duties: Mix and serve alcoholic beverages, general plate service, serve food, clean tables, trays and chairs, load buspans and trays, set tables, replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas; place take-out & delivery orders.
