Position: Project Based, Full Time

Responsibilities:

  1. Creates 3D character rigs and animation interface controls for skeletal motion systems and body/facial deformations.
  2. Knowledgeable in writing utility scripts and core software tools to streamline the character setup process.
  3. Accountable for meeting schedules and show deadlines, participates in dailies, rounds, and team reviews of work in progress.
  4. Interacts with production, supervisors, and team/peers to problem solve and share information related to show/assigned tasks.
  5. Decipher and follow through on work in progress, dailies, briefings/notes, and feedback.
  6. Work efficiently as part of a team or independently on rigging projects.

Qualifications:

  1. Knowledge of applicable software platforms including LINUX, UNIX, Maya, Mudbox, shell, and MEL scripting language; Python is a plus.
  2. Background or experience in fine art with a thorough understanding of physical motion, weight, balance, and form highly desired.
  3. 3 years production experience; feature film experience highly desirable.

Salary:

  1. The anticipated base salary for a Senior position is $45.34 to $65.10/hr.
  2. Benefits are per company policy, which include healthcare, tuition reimbursement, RRSP's, sick and vacation leave, standard increases as applicable.
  3. The actual base salary offered will depend on various factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
