Qualifications

  • 3-5 years industry and customer service experience.
  • Level 1 AIC completed (Level 2 preferred).
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Service ongoing client needs, reviewing policies, and advising on insurance matters.
  • Sell new policies to clients and retain existing clients.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and help clients make informed decisions.

We are looking for an Experienced Personal Insurance Advisor to join our Personal Insurance team in our Glenmore branch in Calgary, AB on a Permanent Full Time Basis.

What the Role Entails:

  • Service on-going client needs, reviewing policies, advise on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommend solutions, and answer inquiries.
  • Sell new policies/write new business to existing or new clients, retain existing clients.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and offer advice that helps them make informed decisions.
  • Keep current on underwriting rules and workflow processes.
  • Actively participate in training initiatives
  • Participate in community marketing initiatives.
  • Actively engage in training and professional development

The Successful candidate will have:

  • Post-Secondary Education or equivalent
  • 3-5 years industry and customer service experience
  • Level 1 AIC completed (Level 2 preferred)
  • High degree of professionalism, diplomacy and integrity
  • Excellent customer service skills and conflict resolution
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to coach/mentor
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and deadlines
  • Able to work both individually and in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; multi-tasking
