Responsibilities

• Creates and builds computer generated 3D models for assigned story elements and designs.
• Prepares and builds models for characters and stand-ins for layout.
• Develops prop elements for effects.
• Creates environmental sets and structures.
• May focus on developing technical drawings for model productions.
• Writes, maintains and runs Makefiles, scripts and model databases.
• Accountable for meeting productivity and quota targets.
• Able to develop models for multiple types of productions from simple to moderately difficult.
• Candidate is accountable for meeting schedules and show deadlines, participates in dailies, rounds and team reviews of work in progress.
• Interacts with production, supervisors and team/peers in order to problem solve and share information related to show/assigned tasks.
• Must be able to decipher as well as follow through on shot turnovers, dailies, briefings/notes and feedback.
• Successful candidates should be able to work efficiently as part of a team or independently to determine the various design solutions.

Salary

The anticipated base salary for a Senior position is $41.20 to $59.16/hr. Benefits are per company policy, which include healthcare, tuition reimbursement, RRSP's, Sick and Vacation leave, standard increases as applicable.

The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
