Responsibilities:

1. Creates and builds computer generated 3D models for assigned story elements and designs.
2. Prepares and builds models for characters and stand-ins for layout.
3. Develops prop elements for effects.
4. Creates environmental sets and structures.
5. May focus on developing technical drawings for model productions.
6. Writes, maintains and runs Makefiles, scripts and model databases.
7. Accountable for meeting productivity and quota targets.
8. Able to develop models for multiple types of productions from simple to moderately difficult.
9. Accountable for meeting schedules and show deadlines.
10. Participates in dailies, rounds and team reviews of work in progress.
11. Interacts with production, supervisors and team/peers to problem solve and share information related to show/assigned tasks.
12. Must be able to decipher as well as follow through on shot turnovers, dailies, briefings/notes and feedback.
13. Works efficiently as part of a team or independently to determine various design solutions.

Qualifications:
Knowledge of applicable software packages including Maya, Mudbox/Z brush, 3d Coat/topogun/paraform. Linux and scripting ability in relevant languages including MEL, Perl, and Python are a plus. Minimum requirement of 3+ years production experience or feature film experience preferred.

The anticipated base salary for a Senior position is $41.20 to $59.16/hr. The actual base salary offered will depend on various factors, including qualifications, years of relevant experience, education level, certifications, and location.
