Exploration Drill Assistant

We are seeking Drill Assistants with a minimum of 1 year of experience on exploration projects, including at least 1 year of hands-on experience working at remote sites and helicopter-supported drilling operations. If you thrive in dynamic environments and are eager to contribute to our team, this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and supply the driller with tooling and materials to maintain drilling operations.
  2. Handle drill rods, casing, core tubes, and core samples.
  3. Maintain and organize inventory levels of materials, supplies, and tooling for the drill rig and support vehicles.
  4. Assist the Driller, clients, and team members as required.
  5. Perform regular lifts of 50-90 lbs.
Professional Experience / Qualifications
  • Must have 2 or more years of experience in the drilling industry.
  • Proven experience in helicopter-supported operations.
  • Class 5 or 7(N) Driver's License.
  • Mechanical ability to troubleshoot and repair small equipment.
  • Complete and pass pre-employment drug & alcohol tests.
  • Complete and pass project-specific safety courses.
  • Experience working in remote locations and varied weather conditions for extended periods.
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Compensation

$25 - $28 per hour plus meter bonus.
