Base pay range

CA$25.00 / hr - CA$35.00 / hr

Requirements

  • Must be able to travel to the Waterloo Region.
  • Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to communicate and take direction.
  • Previous experience operating heavy equipment.
  • Strong mechanical skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others.
  • Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilities.
  • Ability to recognize, communicate, and eliminate hazards.

Responsibilities

  • All functions of sewer crew, mainline, laterals, working in congested areas, dirt moving.
  • Interprets information on grade stakes.
  • Coordination with crew and management.
  • Inspects and maintains the equipment.
  • Performs other tasks as needed.
  • Complies with the Company Safety Program.
  • Organization of project details locates, and performance objectives.
  • Communication of any discrepancy.
  • Ability to plan ahead.
  • Cognitively aware of job tasks and planning.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday.
  • Overtime.
  • Weekend availability.
  • Ability to work 10-14hours a day.

Work Location : Mostly Waterloo Region some travel in Southern Ontario.
