Experienced Carpenter or Skilled Labourer – Sun Certified Builders Cooperative

Sun Certified Builders Co-op (SCBC) is seeking an experienced carpenter or skilled labourer to join our team and start immediately.

Our company specializes in high-performance new builds and renovations in residential and small commercial buildings, utilizing Passive House methods and principles. We employ advanced framing techniques and Larson truss wall systems for prefabrication and installation of high-performance building components. We use the Passive House Planning Package and DesignPH for energy modeling to design and construct some of Manitoba's most energy-efficient and resilient buildings with ultra-low carbon footprints. Our mission is to combat climate change by constructing highly efficient buildings with a net neutral or negative lifetime carbon footprint.

SCBC is an employee-owned worker co-op that offers training, career development, optional benefits and pension plans, and competitive wages. After a successful probation period and review, employees can become co-op members, participating in management and governance, and earning a share of equity dividends as part-owners.
