The Story Café - Eatery & Bar is seeking an experienced Barista to join our team in Richmond. In this role, you will be responsible for making and serving drinks, handling customer orders, and ensuring a delightful dining experience. Ideally, you will have at least 2 years of experience and a passion for providing excellent customer service in a busy environment. JOB DUTIES:

• Professional Barista with serving skills and experience is an asset.
• Making drinks following recipes, taking orders, serving food and beverages, setting up/cleaning up, using POS system, handling cash/card transactions, basic cash-out counting, answering the phone, receiving take-out orders by phone and delivery app, using tablet to organize walk-ins and reservations, greeting and seating customers, ensuring customers have an enjoyable experience.

REQUIREMENT:

• At least 2 years of barista and bartending experience.
• Serving It Right certification.
• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• English language skill level: fluent or intermediate.
• Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident preferred. If on a work permit, must be able to work more than 6 months.
• Basic knowledge of our menu (not required but helpful).
