Job summary

COBS Bread in Kelowna is seeking an Experienced Baker to lead and train a team while baking high-quality products. You will oversee daily production, ensure recipes are followed, and deliver excellent service to customers.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in a commercial bakery, leadership ability, and flexibility to work weekends in a fast-paced environment. Relocation support is available for the right candidate.

Your Role as Experienced Baker

In this position, you will leverage your established skills in baking to create a variety of fresh, delicious products. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a baking environment and demonstrate a passion for leading a team to deliver exceptional results. You will work closely with the bakery team to drive freshness, quality, and an amazing customer experience.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Oversee the baking process, ensuring adherence to recipes and production schedules
• Train and mentor junior bakers and team members

Physical Requirements

• Continuous standing/walking for all tasks
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
• Frequent turning and reaching
• Occasional pushing, pulling, and forward bending
• Constant use of both hands, with frequent wrist rotation and flexing, occasional forceful gripping
