Job summary

Questrade Financial Group is seeking an Experience & Events Strategist to lead end-to-end logistics for our physical and digital event portfolio. You will translate marketing strategies into high-impact experiences—VIP roundtables, product launches, and leadership sessions—driving client acquisition and brand loyalty.

The role requires 4+ years in event production or related fields, hybrid event expertise, and strong project leadership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Event Production, Field Marketing, or Project Management.
• Hybrid event expertise in managing physical and digital productions.
• Proven project leadership across multiple stakeholders and milestones.
• Operational contingency planning with Run of Show and fallback strategies.
• Execution-oriented mindset translating concepts into live activations.
• Working knowledge of digital engagement tools and streaming platforms.

We’re looking for our next Experience & Events Strategist. Could It Be You?

The Experience and Events Strategist is responsible for the end-to-end logistics, execution, and technical management of Questrade’s physical and digital event portfolio. Reporting to the Customer Relations Manager, this role translates marketing strategies into high-impact experiences—including in-person roundtables, leadership networking sessions, and digital product launches—designed to drive client acquisition and brand loyalty.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Run of Show (RoS) Development: Design and direct comprehensive event scripts and schedules for both physical (VIP roundtables, pop-ups) and digital environments, ensuring brand alignment and premium execution.
• End-to-End Logistics: Manage all technical and physical infrastructure, including venue procurement, catering, merchandise sourcing, and digital platform configuration (e.g., Discord, Zoom, YouTube, Slack, etc).
• Guest Journey Design: Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to map intuitive attendee workflows, optimizing every touchpoint from registration to post-event exit.
• Operational Standardization: Create and maintain "Event Blueprints"—standardized playbooks and templates—to ensure scalable, consistent delivery of high-quality events across different product lines.
• Cross-Functional Liaison: Serve as the primary project manager between Product, Marketing, and Community teams to coordinate asset delivery, stakeholder briefings, and milestone tracking.
• Vendor Management: Source and oversee third-party vendors and contractors, ensuring deliverables meet Questrade’s quality standards and budgetary requirements.
• Performance Metrics: Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), specifically monitoring attendee feedback, customer sign-ups, and account creation data.
• Reporting & Iteration: Translate post-event data into actionable insights to refine event formats and improve the ROI of future localized and nationwide activations.

• Have Industry Experience: 4+ years of experience in Event Production, Field Marketing, or Project Management, preferably within a fast-paced corporate or agency environment.
• Have Hybrid Event Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in managing both physical event logistics (venue sourcing, onsite coordination) and digital production (live-streaming, virtual platforms).
• Have Project Leadership Skills: Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple internal stakeholders, ensuring deadlines are met and strategic goals are realized
• Have Operational Contingency Planning Experience: Advanced skills in developing detailed Run of Shows and comprehensive "Plan B" logistical frameworks to mitigate technical or operational risks.
• Have an Execution-Oriented Mindset: Strong ability to translate conceptual strategies into live activations with a focus on detail, quality control, and brand consistency.
• Have Platform Knowledge: Working knowledge of digital engagement tools and streaming platforms (e.g., Google Meets, Slack, YouTube, Discord, or industry equivalents).

Compensation Information

• Base salary range: $70,000 - $110,000
• The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
