A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual craft, creative exploration, and the ability to connect form and function into intuitive, engaging, and polished player experiences.

Strong visual design skills across UI, typography, layout, composition, and visual storytelling, with the ability to create high-quality, visually compelling design solutions.

Solid understanding of core UX principles, including user flows, information hierarchy, interaction patterns, and player-centred design.

Experience translating UX concepts, game design requirements, and creative ideas into compelling visual directions, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI.

Good understanding of game systems and how different features and interactions connect to create a cohesive player experience.

Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools, such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.

Experience working within established Design Systems, maintaining consistency while exploring opportunities for creative expression.

Strong storytelling, presentation, and design rationale skills, with the ability to clearly communicate creative decisions, collaborate with partners, and advocate for thoughtful design solutions.

Strong design judgment and the ability to take ownership of assigned features from concept through implementation, balancing visual quality, usability, and production constraints.

Comfortable navigating ambiguity, asking thoughtful questions, challenging assumptions, and proposing creative solutions.

A collaborative mindset, strong relationship-building skills, adaptability, and a genuine passion for games and creating meaningful player experiences.

Responsibilities:

Create compelling visual and interactive design solutions using the FC Design System, taking ownership of assigned features from early concept exploration through high-fidelity execution and implementation.

Translate UX flows, game design requirements, and player needs into intuitive, visually engaging, and cohesive player experiences.

Explore creative visual directions and develop high-quality UI concepts that balance strong visual identity, usability, and functionality.

Collaborate with Design System owners and fellow designers to maintain consistency, quality, and opportunities for creative expression across experiences.

Work closely with Experience Designers, Game Designers, Producers, Researchers, Art Directors, and Engineers to bring features from concept to delivery.

Apply player-centred design thinking, considering player needs, behaviours, and game systems while challenging assumptions and proposing thoughtful solutions.
