Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Talent Acquisition, as an Executive Talent Acquisition (TA) Lead, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our organization by discovering exceptional leadership talent that embraces our cooperative values and propels our business for success. You will provide expert insights into the external talent marketplace and offer guidance to senior internal leaders and HR partners regarding recruitment approaches and strategies. With a commitment to thoroughness, you'll lead full-cycle recruitment initiatives across our internal business segments to attract, source, develop talent pipelines, and assess diverse talent for executive opportunities. Furthermore, you will serve as a talent brand ambassador for our organization and collaborate with key external talent partners.
How you will create impact:
- Proactively attract and source diverse senior level talent by applying customized targeted recruitment tactics, leveraging TA programs (i.e., the Employee Referral Program and IDEA initiatives), and amplifying our employee value proposition.
- Partner with senior hiring leaders and HR partners on succession gaps to proactively execute on recruitment pipelining, attraction, sourcing, assessment and other hiring activities. Conducting effective intake discussions with hiring leaders for search requests and tracking all recruitment requisition activities.
- Role modelling and influencing leaders to be talent champions promoting job opportunities through social mediums (i.e. LinkedIn), industry related forums, and the community.
- Leveraging organizational leadership competencies to screen/interview and assess candidates.
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate and hiring leader experience.
- Conducting required background checks and guiding hiring leaders for internal references.
- Supporting with talent onboarding responsibilities and other duties as required.

To join our team:
- You hold 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition from a recruitment agency and/or corporate environment, coupled with proven success recruiting for leadership and executive level roles.
- You have completed a degree or diploma.
- Pursuing or having completed a CHRP designation is an asset.
- You have expert knowledge and understanding of recruitment, sourcing, and candidate assessment methodologies, tools, and programs.
- You have deep knowledge of recruitment branding and social media management
- You have in depth experience in providing consultative advice to hiring leaders, HR partners and/or others on recruiting and selection methodologies, and employment standards and legislation
- This position primarily works with majority non-francophone groups, and teams located outside of Québec, and requires proficiency in English. The essential non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.
