The Volunteer Centre of Calgary offers an opportunity for the Executive of Fund Development role in the Canada CyberSTEAM Challenge. Volunteers will play a crucial role in securing funding and will benefit from valuable experience and networking possibilities while contributing to a national competition emphasizing STEM education.
Duration: 2-3 hours/week

The Canada CyberSTEAM Challenge is a national competition aimed at high school and junior high students, focusing on the creative application of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math in real-life scenarios. Join our team of volunteers from across Canada!
The Executive of Fund Development is responsible for applying for grants, contacting community sponsors, and organizing national-scale fundraisers to support the Canada CyberSTEAM Challenge. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to work well in a team. Prior experience in finance, grant applications, fundraising, or sponsorship seeking is an asset.
