About the Role:
Reporting to the Associate Vice-President, Students, the Executive Director, Student Wellness and Accessibility Centre (SWAC) is responsible for strategic planning and ensuring operational excellence in all activities related to student health and wellness, mental health, and services for students with accessibility and inclusion needs. The overall goal is to provide coordinated assessment and specialized services under one umbrella, leading to comprehensive student support(s) and a seamless student experience. The Executive Director, SWAC is responsible for developing policies, budgets, guidelines, and procedures for identifying synergies and harmonizing activities across the campus(es). The Executive Director, SWAC manages financial and human resources in support of student health and wellness, accessibility and inclusion and ensures alignment with the University’s mission and its strategic mandates.
The Executive Director, SWAC plays an important role in the University’s efforts to enhance equity, diversity, inclusivity, and accessibility while contributing to the shared mission of creating an exceptional student centred co-curricular experience that supports and engages students in a safe environment. In all operational aspects, the Executive Director, SWAC will personify the values of Brock Student Wellness and Accessibility Centre.
