Overview

We are currently seeking an Executive Director of Information Technology and Cybersecurity to join our team!

The Executive Director leads the IT department, developing a roadmap for IT and Cybersecurity solutions, including planning and resource management. They oversee the development, implementation, and operation of digital solutions, collaborating on strategy development with leadership and users to meet departmental and company goals within set timelines and budgets.

What The Role Involves

Operations

  • Developing and monitoring annual work plans and digital strategies
  • Mentoring and coaching the IT team to ensure effective communication and prioritization
  • Designing IT strategies and infrastructure
  • Expertise in AI, Robotic Process Automation, and Machine Learning
  • Understanding legal frameworks related to privacy and access
  • Managing enterprise communication networks
  • Improving operational processes and supporting business strategies with IT solutions
  • Assessing business requirements and equipment/software needs
  • Enhancing user satisfaction and service levels
  • Managing IT budget and vendor relationships

Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance

  • Ensuring compliance with security standards and policies
  • Maintaining system and network security
  • Conducting IT and cybersecurity audits
  • Promoting cybersecurity awareness and training
  • Managing SLAs and disaster recovery plans
  • Handling major incident responses

Human Resources

  • Leading and mentoring staff
  • Developing staffing plans and supporting recruitment
  • Conducting staff training and performance reviews

Internal & External Communication

  • Participating in committees and community functions
  • Providing updates on IT operations

Business Applications

  • Collaborating to identify technology needs
  • Leading enterprise application strategies

Data Analytics

What You Bring
  • Degree or diploma in IT-related field
  • Knowledge of EMR, Microsoft SaaS, Azure, AWS
  • Cybersecurity, networking, VOIP expertise
  • 5+ years staff supervision and management experience
  • Healthcare experience is an asset
  • Experience with large projects and budgets, change management
  • PMP and/or ITIL certifications preferred
  • Security and cloud certifications preferred
  • Customer-focused problem solver
  • Supportive leadership and mentorship skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle
