Reporting to the Vice President, Indigenous Health and Chief Planning & Quality Officer, the Executive Director, Indigenous Health (ED) holds executive responsibility for implementing Northern Health's strategic and operational plans related to Indigenous Health. The ED will support, enable, and grow the team while ensuring operational efficiencies, fostering collaboration, information sharing, and transparent support within the Indigenous Health team.
The ED leads an interdisciplinary team supporting three streams: IH internal operations, learning and quality integration, and service delivery integration. This includes providing advisory services to clinical departments, managing Indigenous Health internal operations, and developing practice integration strategies. The ED represents the portfolio in strategic and operational planning and maintains recognized leadership in the field. The ED also participates in governance committees and provides expert advice to advance Northern Health's goals.
