A leading company in Saint John, New Brunswick, is seeking an Executive Director, Growth and Strategy. This role involves developing strategies for value growth and overseeing M&A activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen and experience in driving growth at the Board level.
Ocean Capital is a privately held company located in Saint John, New Brunswick, with interests across several business lines, including construction, real estate, and broadcasting. Ocean Capital manages its investment portfolio with the objective of delivering long-term sustainable returns and providing a rewarding environment for its people.
Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President – Direct Investment, the Executive Director, Growth and Strategy will be primarily responsible for assisting with strategy development and M&A activities, ensuring alignment with the vision and strategy of Ocean Capital.
More specifically, the Executive Director will help develop and implement a strategy to drive the company’s value growth and performance through investments in new businesses and identify value growth opportunities within the existing Ocean Capital group of companies.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of business acumen, experience with strategy development and execution, as well as significant experience with M&A execution and integration activities—particularly within industries where Ocean Capital is active. A natural relationship builder and excellent communicator, you have demonstrated the ability to drive growth and value creation and are experienced in communicating and interacting at the Board level.
