Job description

Goh Ballet Canada is seeking an accomplished and visionary Executive Director to lead its strategic and operational initiatives, ensuring the ongoing success and sustainability of one of Canada’s most respected dance institutions. Reporting to and working in close partnership with Chan Hon Goh, C.M., D.Litt., General and Artistic Director, the Executive Director will provide strong leadership across finance, administration, development, marketing, and stakeholder engagement.

This is an exciting opportunity for a values-driven leader to join an organization at a moment of growth and transformation—including the opening of a new, custom-built facility at Oakridge Park in Vancouver in 2026—and to help shape the future of ballet in Canada.

Position Overview Keypoints

The Executive Director will be responsible for ensuring the operational, financial, and administrative health of the organization, supporting its growth and mission through:

• Strategic Implementation: Support and help realize the Artistic Director’s vision; lead the development and execution of strategic plans.

• Financial Oversight: Oversee the annual budget, financial reporting, and long-term sustainability planning.

• Fund Development: Drive contributed revenue through business development fundraising campaigns, donor cultivation, sponsorship, and strategic partnerships

Compensation:

An annual salary, of $150,000 – $175,000 commensurate with experience, with three weeks of paid vacation and health spending account of $2,500 annually.
