Job summary

Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority invites applications for Executive Director, Lake Simcoe Conservation Foundation. This full-time role leads strategy, fundraising, governance and stakeholder engagement to advance environmental initiatives and climate resilience.

Reporting to the Foundation's Board, you will oversee governance, staffing, revenue generation, financial oversight and regulatory compliance, while building partnerships with donors, partners and the broader community to grow

Qualifications

• University degree in business, economics, social science or related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years senior-level not-for-profit management experience.
• CFRE designation considered an asset.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in fundraising campaigns, donor engagement and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of the Foundation’s strategic plan with Board input.
• Oversee governance, staff, volunteers, and resource planning.
• Direct revenue generation through diverse fundraising programs and campaigns.
• Ensure financial stewardship, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Cultivate donors, partners and community relationships to grow impact.
