Executive Director

We are looking for a Non-Profit Executive Director to join our team and guide our organization forward by overseeing all operational, financial, and technical aspects of the organization.

Non-Profit Executive Director responsibilities include preparing accurate financial reports for the board of directors, assisting with volunteer recruitment activities, and leading annual budget reviews.

Ultimately, you will work with various volunteers and board members in the organization to ensure we hit our annual fundraising goals and continue to build our volunteer base for future success. Experience in sponsor and community engagement is crucial.

A compensation model that includes a percentage of funds from new sponsors or donations that you bring to the organization will be discussed. The fundraising efforts are outside the commitment of ten hours a month to the role of Executive Director.

Accountability

The Executive Director of Women + Wealth NFP organization is the leader responsible for overseeing the operations, finances, and events. They provide guidance and strategic direction to achieve the organization’s mission and goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Non-Profit Executive Director manages volunteers, leads fundraising efforts, and maintains relationships with stakeholders. They oversee financial management, development of policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. They also collaborate with the board of directors, develop strategic plans, and represent the organization to the public. Their role is to drive the organization’s success and make a positive impact in our community.

Primary Duties:

  • Planning, organizing, and directing the organization’s galas, programs, and events. Ensure that ticket sales, funding relationships, strategic alliances, and sponsorships are robust enough to meet or exceed strategic goals and objectives.
  • Oversight, approvals, and serving as a sounding board for larger decisions regarding event planning and execution.
  • Ensuring the strategic plan is documented and approved by the board and that the operational plan aligns with the strategy.
  • Overseeing bookkeeping, cash management, and financial reporting functions.
  • Overseeing and reporting on the organization’s results for the board of directors.
  • Preparing accurate and timely analyses that capture and communicate fundraising results, variances, and performance trends.
  • Coordinating and leading annual budgets, quarterly reviews, and periodic forecast updates.
