Reportingto the Board ofDirectors,the ExecutiveDirector (ED)provides visionary and accountable leadership for all aspects of Maison Baldwin House's operations, strategic direction, and organizationalperformance.TheEDisresponsibleforensuringtheorganizationfulfillsitsmissionwhile maintaining strong relationships with the Board, funding partners, residents, employees, community stakeholders, and the public.
Asthe organization'smostsenior leader,the ED providesstrategicleadership,operationaloversight,and effective stewardship of financial, human, and physical resources. They foster an inclusive culture of collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement, ensuring programs and services are delivered with excellence and integrity. Serving as a trusted advisor and resource to the Board, the ED supervises and supports staff, champions organizational priorities, and builds strong partnerships throughout the community. The ED promotes open communication, transparency, and the free exchange of ideas, creatinganenvironmentwherecreativityisencouragedandtheknowledgeoffrontlinestaffisvaluedand embraced.
The Executive Director acts as the primary ambassador and advocate for Maison Baldwin House, promoting its mission, strengthening its profile, and cultivating relationships with funders, government,communityorganizations,andotherkeystakeholders.Theyensurecompliancewithall legislative, regulatory, ethical, and confidentiality requirements while leading the organization with professionalism, transparency, and accountability.
Voluntary RRSP Contributions: employer match 7.5% of salary at six months
