About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Managing Director and the Senior Medical Director Innovation; the Executive Assistant provides confidential and comprehensive executive-level support. This includes responsibility and accountability for the overall effective management and coordination of the Managing Director the Senior Medical Director and the Nova Scotia Health Innovation Hub.

Requiring a strong level of independence and demonstrating advanced communication relationship building organizational and critical thinking skills the Executive Assistant enables and supports administrative aspects of provincial operations with a proactive approach supporting the Managing Director and Senior Medical Director to focus on strategic priorities and achievement of goals and objectives.

The Executive Assistant contributes and supports leadership to the administrative assistants within the zone in terms of all administrative activities procedures and guidelines to enable consistency and standardization across the organization.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following :

  • Post-Secondary diploma in a recognized office administration business administration or secretarial program
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field is considered an asset
  • International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) certification is an asset
  • 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience providing executive level support and office coordination and management preferably within healthcare and within an integrated service model provided throughout several locations with multiple partners and stakeholders
  • Exceptional leadership organizational and self-management skills reflecting the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks. Proven ability to manage complex and highly confidential information with discretion be adaptable to various competing demands and demonstrate the highest level of service and response
  • Extensive knowledge of entire zone (including leaders staff physicians programs / services and geographical areas) operating in a matrix model
  • Demonstrated competencies requiring advanced skills and abilities in all facets of modern office practices and information and meeting technologies. Experience utilizing technology in meeting planning to create efficiencies and streamline tracking and retrieval of information

    27.46 - $34.32 Hourly
