The City of Kawartha Lakes is looking for an Executive Assistant to join its Corporate Services team. In this vibrant role, you will lead budgeting efforts and support various strategic programs that enhance the community. We are looking for an Executive Assistant to join our Corporate Services team.
In this dynamic role, you will support the implementation and oversight of key programs and processes that advance both corporate and departmental strategic goals. You’ll provide essential business support in areas such as strategy, financial management, policy compliance, integrated processes, operations, procurement, and Council/Committee reporting. You will also take on the role of Budget Coordinator, leading the City’s annual budgeting and forecasting process to support sound financial planning and informed decision-making across the organization.

What You’ll Be Doing:
In this dynamic role, you will provide operational and financial support to the Corporate Services department. You’ll lead and coordinate budgeting and forecasting, guide administrative processes, and support departmental compliance with corporate policies. You’ll also collaborate across departments, support the preparation of Council reports and materials, oversee records management and FOI requests, and champion process improvements.
