Role Overview

In this “go to” role, you will be part of a team providing support to our Senior Management Team while reporting directly to our Chief Operating Office. The Executive Assistant will play an important role in managing the multiple and complex relationships between the corporate office, management, and outside stakeholders, including the management of confidential and sensitive information. You will provide administrative support by managing the logistics of calendars, schedules, organizing meetings, travel arrangements and responding to incoming routine correspondence, inquiries, and phone calls. In addition, you will collaborate with other Executive and Corporate support resources and stakeholders and administer committee responsibilities including the preparation and coordination of documentation for these meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Professional Qualifications & Competencies
  • College degree in office administration or equivalent; however, consideration will be given to the experience of the candidate to fulfill the job requirements.
  • Minimum of three to five years of relevant experience in a senior administrative role.
  • Experience working in a multi company environment is considered an asset.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power point.
  • Excellent judgement and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks/issues and work under pressure.
  • Superior diplomacy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Compensation

Salary Range $45,094 to $50,730 annually. The Base Pay range may vary depending on the successful candidate or other relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and education/training. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Medavie employees may participate in various performance-based incentive programs. Payments under these programs are discretionary and subject to both individual and organizational results.
