Job description

Northern Health is seeking an experienced, efficient, and self-directed permanent full-time Executive Assistant.

Under the supervision of the Vice President, the Executive Assistant provides confidential administrative support aligned with Northern Health's mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities. Key responsibilities include managing workflow, prioritizing tasks, drafting confidential correspondence, creating documents, presentations, orientation packages, and spreadsheets, arranging travel, and maintaining confidentiality of all information related to the portfolio, operations, personnel, labour relations, finance, and public affairs. The role also involves supporting the VP in fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

The starting salary ranges from approximately $62,239 to $77,799, depending on education, experience, and comparable salaries.

Prince George serves as the hub of business, education, health, and culture for northern British Columbia, supporting a rural population of about 300,000. The region offers economic growth opportunities, affordable living costs, and a high standard of living, with a diverse and vibrant community.
