Reporting to the founder, editor-in-chief, you will be responsible for developing and implementing tactics to ensure the proper functioning, organization and coordination of the organization's activities including various files including the administrative management of the office.

Montreal

SALARY

23 to $28 per hour

roles and responsibilities

Administrative support and communication

  • Assists management and the team on a daily basis
  • Write letters, memos, working papers; prepare reports and presentation materials
  • Management of the annual calendar and the organization's email box
  • Management of the various subscriptions and ensures their renewal
  • Management of expenditure accounts in accordance with established policies
  • Social media management (Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram)
  • Ensure the publication of relevant articles and newsletters online

Operations support

  • Coordinates various projects in collaboration with the team
  • Perform internal data entry and management
  • Management of the organization's various programs
  • Participate in the process of recruiting young people, from selection to integration
  • Be available to travel according to the needs of the organization.

Promotion of the organization

  • Organize and maintain community meetings with communities
  • Organize special events including the Annual General Meeting

Working hours

Monday to Friday from 10 : 00 a.m. to 6 : 00 p.m. - 35h / week (availability to work evenings and weekends occasionally)

SKILLS REQUIRED

The achievements sought

  • Degree in a relevant field with 3 years of experience in similar positions
  • Experience in a similar position or in an agency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Editorial mastery
  • Good knowledge of traditional and digital communication tools (Canva, Mailchimp, Google Workspace, Trello, Slack, Webflow)
  • Knowledge of social media management tools (Ex. Hootsuite)
  • Accounting knowledge (desirable)
  • Bilingualism (French and English)
  • High level of ethics and ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times
  • Valid class 5 driver's license
  • Knowledge of Montreal community environments
