Job description

Adecco is currently seeking an experienced and highly organized Executive Assistant (EA) to support the President of a dynamic organization based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This contract / temp position pays $18 per hour and offers an opportunity to work directly with executive leadership, making a meaningful impact on operations and decision-making. The EA will ensure the President's schedule, communications, and office activities run smoothly and effectively while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Pay rate : $18 / hour.

New and quicker onboarding process Responsibilities :

Manage emails, screen and draft correspondence, and follow up on action items

Coordinate the President's calendar, schedule meetings, and resolve conflicts

Arrange travel, prepare itineraries, and manage expense and mileage reports

Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting minutes; maintain organized files

Support special projects such as office moves, benefits plans, and investor updates

Oversee office supplies, vendor coordination, and assist with basic accounting tasks (e.g., tracking bills, supporting forecasts)

Ensure communication flow between the President, staff, and external stakeholders Requirements :

Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

Completion of NSCC Office Administration program or equivalent

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel); knowledge of Yardi an asset

Prior experience in executive or administrative support, preferably in development or a related industry

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
