Job Summary


Airswift is currently seeking an experienced Exchange Analyst to support a major Oil and Gas client with their ongoing email infrastructure initiatives in Calgary, AB. This role will contribute to a large-scale Exchange Online migration, assist with an Exchange on-premises upgrade, and provide backfill support for day-to-day Exchange operations. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently within a dynamic IT environment.


Key Accountabilities:

• Participate in planning, testing, and execution of the Exchange Online (M365) migration.
• Assist with upgrading the Exchange on-premises environment.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, end-user support teams, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Develop and update project documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Provide day-to-day operational support for the existing Exchange environment
• Manage mailbox moves, permissions, distribution groups, and user issues.
• Monitor and maintain Exchange server health and performance.
• Address incidents, service requests, and escalations related to messaging services.

What You Bring to the Role:

• Degree/diploma in Information Technology or related
• 5+ years of Microsoft Exchange experience, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry
• Experience with hybrid Exchange environments
• Demonstrate experience with On-Prem to Cloud migrations
• Understanding of mail gateway systems
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• PowerShell scripting is an asset.
