Job description

Our client is now seeking General Practitioners to join their dynamic and efficient clinic located inside a busy building with 6000 empanelled patients. The clinic was set up in January 2024 with a vision of wanting to work in a practice where physicians can approach and focus on patient-centred care.

With 3 physicians currently, and one of the Partners being a UK GP, they are committed to providing high-quality healthcare and offer full scope, full-time GP services and ample capacity both in space and MOA support. They put emphasis on making a significant impact in their patients' lives while working together in a comfortable but professional clinic without extra stress. Their practice includes not only family practice for attached patients but also walk-in services.

Location:

An hour from Vancouver, in the heart of Langley, a growing town with excellent shops and many great areas to live in. There are a number of good neighbourhoods and schools. The employers are happy to talk this through with the candidates.

They offer a full range of General Practitioner (GP) / Family Physician services. There are a number of optional skills that allow even higher earning such as minor operative procedures and PAP tests that the candidate is welcome to undertake, but these are not essential. There are currently 8 Consulting rooms, all are fully equipped as treatment rooms. Patients are a mixture from infants through to the elderly population with a range of minor and chronic illnesses.

There is a pharmacy on site, and an optician available. There are a number of good physiotherapy clinics nearby, along with phlebotomy, ECG/Holter services, and full imaging including CT/MRI within the town.

2 of their current GP's were GP trainers in England, and they are open to becoming a training practice. They currently have 2 Medical Office Assistants and the team will grow as the clinic expands.

Work hours are full time but can have some flexibility, the clinic opens at 07:00am and currently shuts at 15:00pm but they can stay open later as needed.

Please Note: All GP's who relocate to British Columbia also need to pass the MCCQE 1 exam. The next available exam to take in the UK is in April 2025 currently.
