Responsibilities

  • Unload trucks and check the quality of materials
  • Load melting pots using the excavator
  • Sort different metals according to characteristics
  • Assist with torch cutting when needed
  • Ensure the site remains clean
  • Perform general equipment maintenance
  • Operate the wheel loader when needed
  • Wash the machine when required
  • Perform any other related tasks

Job Description

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Unloading trucks and checking the quality of materials
  • Loading the melting pots using the excavator
  • Sorting different metals according to their characteristics using the excavator
  • Assisting with torch cutting when needed
  • Ensuring the site remains clean at all times
  • Performing general equipment maintenance
  • Operating the wheel loader when needed
  • Washing the machine when required
  • Performing any other related tasks

Qualifications

To join our team:

  • You have one (1) to three (3) years of experience in a similar position
  • You have knowledge of metal recycling (a major asset)
  • You are capable of driving and operating heavy vehicles
  • You have a strong sense of responsibility and are always vigilant
  • You are a good communicator
  • You enjoy teamwork
  • You are conscientious about health and safety at work
  • You are comfortable working indoors and/or outdoors
