Green Valley Services Ltd. in Abbotsford, BC, is hiring an excavation labourer to load, unload and transport construction materials and assist with forming, scaffolding, and groundwork. The role is on-site with full-time, permanent terms and offers health benefits. Training provided; no prior experience required.
You will work 35–40 hours per week at about $39 per hour, with immediate start available and three vacancies posted. Candidates must be able to perform physically demanding tasks.
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Perform routine maintenance work. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Personal suitability: Flexibility. Reliability. Team player. Hardworking.
