This is an in-office role requiring full-time work at their Edmonton, AB office.

About the role

  • Collaborate with internal departments in the creative design of tradeshows and events that align with corporate strategies.
  • Develop and execute strategies, including site/booth selection, creative concepts, floor plans, booth builds, budgets, promotional materials, and post-event analysis and reporting.
  • Manage logistics for delivering all corporate tradeshows and events, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for seamless execution.
  • Develop and manage budgets for all related event and tradeshow expenditures.
  • Create and oversee the annual tradeshow and events calendar and planning activities.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders and agencies on site selection, design, execution, and logistics.
  • Coordinate with internal committees on employee-related event delivery.
  • Arrange photography and videography needs with external vendors.
  • Analyze and report on events, identifying successes and areas for improvement.
  • Plan, order, distribute, and manage inventory of all promotional items.
  • Work with internal departments on strategies and needs for promotional items.

The salary range for this role is $65,000 – $75,000 and includes extended benefits, two weeks of paid vacation, and more.

About you
  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing role (preferably in agency or construction industry)
  • Degree in Marketing, Project Management, Event Management, Communications, or Business
  • Proven experience in event planning, merchandising, or trade show design and execution
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic photography and videography skills are an asset
  • Superior time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with multiple stakeholders and strong negotiation skills
  • Passion for marketing and creativity, with knowledge of new trends and competitor analysis
