Job description

A commercial UK law firm with international reach is seeking an Events & Marketing Executive to join their team in Reading. This role will manage and deliver an extensive calendar of internal and externally hosted events. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Business Development, as well as the BD & Marketing team, practice areas, and support teams.

The Responsibilities
  1. Regular communication with stakeholders, promotion on social media and the website, and hosting events on the day.
  2. Provide digital support to the marketing team as needed, including involvement in staff events.
  3. Organise digital and hybrid events, managing logistics and budgets end-to-end.
  4. This role primarily focuses on events, requiring exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
The Candidate
  1. Experience within a Business Development team, preferably in a Professional Services firm.
  2. Knowledge of social media marketing tools and experience setting up and running webinars (Zoom preferred).
  3. Thorough understanding of event processes, including hosting and liaising with conference sponsors and attendees.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Knowledge of InterAction and/or Vuture software is desirable.
