How You’ll Contribute

You’ll be at the front line of our events—bringing senior decision‑makers, sponsors, and delegates together to create powerful, peer‑driven experiences from planning through execution.

The Event Manager will own the full lifecycle of assigned events, serving as the main point of contact and final decision‑maker for cross‑departmental input on their respective events. This will require close collaboration with our Customer Success team, Event Operations team, and other departments to ensure every detail—from attendee data and budgets to onsite logistics—comes together seamlessly.

This role is both strategic and hands‑on, with a strong focus on client relationships and operational excellence across the full event cycle. You’ll travel onsite to lead setup, registration, conference room operations, 1-2-1 meeting scheduling, and teardown, while keeping databases and event websites accurate and up to date.

You will play a critical role in maintaining strong client relationships, running event kickoffs, health checks and debriefs, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and outcomes across events. You’ll also support the Chief Product and Strategy Officer with performance management, mentoring, and the onboarding of new team members—helping foster a collaborative, high‑performing team culture.

In This Role, You Will
  • Own the end‑to‑end delivery of assigned events, serving as the main point of contact and final decision‑maker for cross‑departmental input and requests
  • Travel onsite to lead all aspects of event execution, including setup, registration, conference room operations, 1-2-1 meeting scheduling, drinks receptions, and teardown
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met throughout the event lifecycle
  • Conduct event kickoffs, health checks and regular check‑in meetings with all relevant departments during the run‑up to each event, and lead the post‑event debrief
  • Maintain accurate attendee data across databases and event websites, and assist with tracking and managing event budgets
  • Oversee the work of the Events team, providing clear direction and support across respective events
  • Mentor and train new hires, and support the onboarding of new team members
  • Partner with the CPSO on performance management and team member responsibilities
  • Review current processes and identify alternative solutions to problems, weighing both cost and benefit
  • Stay current on industry trends, market activity, and the competitive landscape to inform event strategy
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with other departments to ensure seamless event execution and success
What Sets You Up for Success

This role requires someone who can step in and start executing immediately — we have events that needs hands‑on leadership from day one, so we're looking for a proven operator who's ready to hit the ground running.

You’ll Thrive In This Role If You Bring
  • 3-5+ years of experience in event management, ideally within a conference, membership, or sponsorship‑driven environment
  • Strong operational mindset with experience improving processes, managing multiple events, budgets, and timelines simultaneously
  • Proven experience leading and scaling high‑performing teams , including remote or distributed teams
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities under tight deadlines, while keeping stakeholders and cross‑functional partners informed on progress
  • Proven experience traveling onsite and leading all aspects of event execution, from setup through teardown
  • Experience overseeing or mentoring junior team members, with the ability to provide clear direction and support
  • Experience working across membership, events, or sponsorship‑driven environments is a strong asset
