We employ more than 1,500 employees and are a subsidiary of ICTS Europe, which currently operates in 24 countries and employs more than 18,000 security professionals worldwide. We provide services including security, customer service, K9 detection, concierge, and baggage handling to a wide range of clients such as residential properties, commercial facilities, retail spaces, as well as some of the largest airports in Canada.

ASP is looking for an Event Supervisor for the Great Outdoor Comedy Festival at Erindale Park, Mississauga. This is a 3-day outdoor festival engagement running September 11 through 13, 2026, noon to midnight each day. The Event Supervisor will take full ownership of security operations — from front-gate entry and bag searching to perimeter patrol, alcohol compliance, and backstage access control. We are seeking a polished, experienced security professional who has supervised complete events end-to-end and can lead a team with authority, professionalism, and composure.

What you will do:
  • Supervise all front gate operations including ticket verification, crowd flow management, and bag searching of patrons
  • Direct and conduct regular foot patrols across the Erindale Park festival grounds throughout each shift
  • Monitor and secure the perimeter, festival zones, and all access points on an ongoing basis
  • Enforce AGCO alcohol service regulations and event liquor policies; monitor licensed areas and ensure Smart Serve compliance throughout
  • Control and enforce access to backstage areas, production zones, and all restricted sections of the festival site
  • Manage artist, crew, and vendor credentialing and liaise professionally with talent representatives and production staff
  • Assume full supervisory responsibility for the on-site security team across all three event days
  • Assign posts, manage gate assignments and rotation schedules, and maintain operational momentum throughout each shift
  • Conduct shift briefings, provide real-time direction, and coach team members as required
  • Complete and review incident reports, shift logs, and equipment tracking with accuracy and timeliness
  • Provide oversight and leadership of security guards and team leads; provide coaching and discipline if necessary
  • Collaborate with event organizers, ASP management, other security organizations, and local authorities
  • Investigate, report, and respond to any incidents; serve as the point of direction for the site team in emergency situations
  • Assist in emergency situations such as evacuations and medical incidents; be responsible for keys, radios, and equipment tracking during shift changes
  • Work in compliance with OHSA, AODA, CCC, PSISA, and AGCO regulations
  • Perform other relevant functions as required by ASP management and the event client
Working Environment:
  • Fully outdoor event on the open grounds of Erindale Park — all weather conditions apply
  • Working in all elements of the weather including rain, high winds, sun and heat
  • Standing and walking for up to 12 hours per shift
  • Large outdoor festival venue with only portable washroom access
  • On show days, exposure to loud music and large crowds
  • Potential exposure to outdoor elements such as bugs, bees, and tall grass
Who you are:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Demonstrated experience supervising complete events from front gates (including bag searching) to patrol, alcohol compliance, and backstage — event experience is required
  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • Must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (PSISA) — mandatory
  • Must possess valid Smart Serve certification — mandatory
  • Must possess valid Standard First Aid with CPR-C and AED certification — mandatory
  • Must be available for all 3 event days: September 11, 12, and 13, 2026 (noon to midnight each day) — all 3 days mandatory
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional radio use
  • Ability to work in a crowded, high-energy environment, think critically, and lead a team under pressure
  • Able to walk extended distances and work in all weather conditions for 12-hour shifts
Competitive wages:
  • Wage: $26.00/hour
  • 3-day event contract: September 11, 12, and 13, 2026
