Marketers on Demand is on the lookout for an Events & Sponsorships Specialist for a passionate and dynamic client of ours. In this role you will plan, lead and execute various events & sponsorships.

This is a 6-month contract opportunity, starting in June 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute professional virtual, hybrid, and in-person meetings and events (sponsorships, charitable and industry business events)
• Support event strategy, purpose, outreach in line with strategic plans
• Manage logistical aspects of events (venue and vendor sourcing, budgeting, project management, registration management and reporting)
• Support tying events to business development and reporting
• Attend events and meetings and be the face of the organization
• Coordinate with Marketing Department any materials, creative, invitations or emails required

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a professional services environment
• Must be available and committed to the full duration of the 6-month contract
• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (certificate in event management and/or CMP designation is an asset)
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Outlook)
• CRM and / or ERM experience
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
