Position: Security Supervisor / Part-Time

Department: Security

Reports to: Security Director & Security Manager

Classification: Part-Time / Non-Exempt

Compensation: $23 per hour

Incentives: Non-guard card applicants will receive $150 reimbursement after 30 shifts with no disciplinary or attendance issues. Current guard card holders will receive $30 toward renewal after 30 events with no issues.

Position Summary: Responsible for supervising security officers and overseeing safety and security of patrons, employees, and assets.

Essential Functions:

1. Supervise security staff during shifts
2. Update briefing/post materials timely
3. Conduct shift briefings and post checks
4. Train staff in guest service and security skills
5. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance
6. Investigate security requests and resolve issues
7. Ensure compliance with policies and emergency procedures
8. Work closely with Security Director and Managers

Experience, Training, and Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-4 years of supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to perform under pressure and handle crises
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

License/Certificate: Must have a current California Guard Card.

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

• Stand and walk for long periods
• Climb stairs and work in varying temperatures
